History
Blair Allison was founded in 1978 by Blair Drummond Allison. Previously a partner with a large firm of Birmingham solicitors, Blair decided to set up a niche practice dedicated to family work. Mari Meisel, the firm’s current senior partner, joined the firm six months after it was founded and has helped cement the firm’s reputation, based on its:
- care for the individual client
- non-aggressive but firm approach
- high standards in case management and legal knowledge
- good relationship with the courts, the Family Bar, specialist panels and the Law Society
The firm has grown in size and strength over the last thirty years. In the early days the firm concentrated on family law, aswell as probate, conveyancing and group personal injury claims. The partners soon concentrated their efforts on making the firm a specialist provider of family law advice. The practice sees stability as a key factor in its success. Mari Meisel has been with the firm since its inception. The firm has grown from within with all its current partners having been "home grown".
