History
Blair Allison was founded in 1978 by Blair Drummond Allison. Previously a partner with a large
firm of Birmingham Solicitors Blair decided to set up a niche practice dedicated
to family work. Mari Meisel, the firm’s current senior partner, joined the firm six
months after it was founded. The Practice sees stability as a key factor in its
success. The firm's two other partners Rayner Grice and Grant Bird both carried out
their training contracts with the firm.
The firm has grown in size and strength over the last 30 years. Its strong client
base has grown from many commercial links, particularly with fellow professionals.
Blair Allison’s reputation is based on the level of service provided to clients. It is the
ethos of the firm that the client receives a high standard of personal service along
with up to date legal advice tailor made for them.
